Privacy Policy

Diveno Calculator works offline. Calculations are processed on your device, history is temporary, and your theme preference is saved locally. The App has no accounts, advertising, or integrated analytics. Android backups, platform diagnostics, and information you voluntarily send for support are explained below.

1. About this policy

Diveno Calculator (the “App”) is developed and operated by Rahul Shekhawat, sole proprietor of Diveno Labs, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App or contact us about it. Use of the Diveno Labs website is covered separately by our website privacy policy.

2. Calculations and information on your device

The App performs calculations on your device. It does not require an account, send your calculation inputs or results to Diveno Labs, or upload your calculation history to our servers.

• Calculations: Numbers, expressions, and results are processed locally to provide calculator functions.
• History: Completed expressions and results, along with a creation time and a locally generated record identifier, are held in memory for the current calculator session. The App does not write this history to persistent storage. History may disappear when the calculator session is recreated or the app process ends.
• Theme preference: Your choice of Light or Dark mode is saved in the App’s private storage so it can be remembered when you reopen the App.

3. Copying results to the clipboard

When you long-press the result display, the App copies the displayed result to the Android system clipboard. The App does not read unrelated clipboard contents or send copied results to Diveno Labs.

Copied text is then managed by Android. Apps or services you paste it into, and any clipboard features enabled on your device, may handle that text under their own settings and policies. Clearing the App’s history does not clear the system clipboard.

4. Permissions, advertising, and tracking

The App uses the Android vibration permission to provide tactile feedback when you interact with calculator controls. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or shared files, and it does not request the Internet permission.

The App has no advertising, account sign-in, analytics SDK, or integrated third-party crash-reporting SDK. It does not collect advertising identifiers or track you across other apps.

5. Android backup and device transfer

Android backup is enabled for the App. Depending on your device, Android version, backup provider, and settings, saved app preferences such as your theme choice may be included in an operating-system cloud backup or transferred to another device.

Calculation history is kept only in memory, so the App does not include it in its persistent backup data. Diveno Labs does not receive or control your operating-system backups. You can manage backup and transfer options through your device or backup provider. Previously backed-up preferences may be restored when you reinstall the App.

Removing the App’s local data does not necessarily remove copies maintained by a backup provider.

6. Google Play and platform diagnostics

Google Play and Android operate separately from the App. If you allow usage and diagnostics sharing through your device settings, Google may collect app quality information, such as crash, responsiveness, and performance reports, and make relevant information available to us through Google Play Console. We may use those reports to investigate faults and improve the App.

These platform services are governed by Google’s policies and your device settings. This is separate from an analytics or crash-reporting SDK integrated into the App.

7. Information you choose to send us

If you contact care@divenolabs.in for support or privacy questions, we may receive your email address, name, message, and any screenshots or attachments you choose to provide. This information is supplied by you through the contact channel; it is not automatically collected by the calculator.

We use it to respond, provide support, investigate issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Email and other providers used to handle your enquiry may process the correspondence. We may disclose support information where required by law or with your consent. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.

We do not have access to your on-device calculation history unless you choose to include it in a message or attachment.

8. Retention, security, and deletion

The App uses Android’s app-private storage protections for its saved theme preference. Access to support correspondence is limited to the people and service providers needed to handle it.

• Use History → Clear All to remove the current session’s history. Use AC to reset the current calculation.
• Your saved theme preference remains until you change it, clear the App’s storage through Android settings, or uninstall the App. Operating-system backups and copied clipboard text are managed separately.
• We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, maintain relevant support records, or satisfy legal obligations.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you have sent to us by emailing care@divenolabs.in. Requests are handled subject to applicable legal requirements and lawful retention needs. There is no App account to delete.

9. Children’s privacy

The calculator features do not require personal information or ask for a user’s age. The same local processing described above applies when children use the App.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support message, contact care@divenolabs.in so we can review the request and remove that information where appropriate.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the App’s information-handling practices change and revise the date shown above. The latest published version will describe the practices that apply to the App.
