Read Bhagavad Gita is an Android application developed and operated by Rahul Shekhawat, sole proprietor of Diveno Labs, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The App is available from its official Google Play listing.
This Privacy Policy explains how Read Bhagavad Gita ("App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the App. The App is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.
1. Summary
Read Bhagavad Gita is designed primarily as an offline scripture reading app. The core reading experience does not require an account, login, phone number, email address, contact list, camera, microphone, SMS access, call-log access, or precise location access.
The App is currently free and ad-free. It does not include advertisements, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Google services may be used for app distribution and crash diagnostics as described below.
2. Age Requirement and Audience
The App is intended for adults only and will be published with an 18+ audience setting where applicable. We do not knowingly design the App for children, direct the App to children, or knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are under 18, do not use the App. If a parent, guardian, or regulator believes a child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can review the matter.
3. Information We Do Not Collect Directly
Diveno Labs does not require you to create an account to read the Bhagavad Gita in the App. We do not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages, photos, files, microphone audio, camera images, or precise GPS location for the core reading experience.
Reading progress, selected language, and similar app preferences may be stored locally on your device so the App works properly. Unless a future cloud feature is clearly disclosed, this local reading data is not sent to Diveno Labs servers.
4. Free and Ad-Free Experience
The App is currently provided without advertisements, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. It does not use an Advertising ID to serve ads, and Diveno Labs does not collect payment details through the App.
5. Crash Reports, Diagnostics, and Security
The App may use Google Play services, Firebase Crashlytics, or similar diagnostics tools to understand crashes and technical failures. Diagnostic data can include device model, Android version, app version, crash stack traces, timestamps, and technical identifiers needed to debug the issue.
We use diagnostic information to maintain app stability, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and improve compatibility. Diagnostic logs are not intended to include your scripture reading content.
6. App Permissions
The App may request only permissions needed for its features. These may include:
- Internet and network state: used for app distribution, diagnostics, and updates where applicable.
The App does not require contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone, camera, precise location, or personal-file permissions for the core reading experience.
7. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services provided by Google, including Google Play services and Firebase Crashlytics if enabled, for distribution, compatibility, and diagnostics.

8. Data Sharing
We may share limited technical information with service providers only as needed to operate the App, comply with law, prevent abuse, diagnose crashes, and protect the App. We do not sell user data.
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, Diveno Labs, or others.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Local app preferences and reading progress can be removed by clearing the App's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the App. Diagnostic records handled by Google services are retained according to Google's applicable policies and your Google account settings.
If you contact us for privacy support, we will use the information you provide only to respond to your request and maintain necessary support records.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your region, you may have privacy rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Because Diveno Labs does not require an account for this App, much of your app data remains on your device and can be managed directly from your device settings.
11. Website Visits
When you visit this legal page on divenolabs.in, website analytics, hosting logs, or security tools may process standard web data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and page interactions. Website handling is covered by the Diveno Labs website privacy policy.
12. International Users
The App may be available in multiple countries. Data processed by Google or other service providers may be transferred and handled in countries different from your own, subject to their policies and applicable legal safeguards.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
