Read Bhagavad Gita is an Android application developed and operated by Rahul Shekhawat, sole proprietor of Diveno Labs, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

This Privacy Policy explains how Read Bhagavad Gita ("App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the App. The App is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.

1. Summary

Read Bhagavad Gita is designed primarily as an offline scripture reading app. The core reading experience does not require an account, login, phone number, email address, contact list, camera, microphone, SMS access, call-log access, or precise location access.

The App may use Google services for advertising, consent management, crash diagnostics, app distribution, and in-app purchases. These services may process device, diagnostic, purchase, and advertising-related information as described below.

2. Age Requirement and Audience

The App is intended for adults only and will be published with an 18+ audience setting where applicable. We do not knowingly design the App for children, direct the App to children, or knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are under 18, do not use the App. If a parent, guardian, or regulator believes a child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can review the matter.

3. Information We Do Not Collect Directly

Diveno Labs does not require you to create an account to read the Bhagavad Gita in the App. We do not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages, photos, files, microphone audio, camera images, or precise GPS location for the core reading experience.

Reading progress, selected language, and similar app preferences may be stored locally on your device so the App works properly. Unless a future cloud feature is clearly disclosed, this local reading data is not sent to Diveno Labs servers.

4. Advertising and Advertising ID

The free version of the App may display advertisements through Google AdMob or related Google advertising services. Advertising services may process information such as your device type, approximate location derived from network signals, app interactions, ad impressions, ad clicks, crash data, diagnostics, and the Android Advertising ID where available.

Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your location, consent choices, Google settings, and applicable law. You can reset or delete your Android Advertising ID through your Android device settings where supported.

We do not sell your personal information. Advertising partners may process data under their own policies and as required to provide, measure, prevent fraud in, and improve advertising.

5. Consent Management

For users in regions where consent is required or recommended, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other regulated jurisdictions, the App may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) or another Google-certified consent management platform to request, store, and update your privacy choices.

Consent choices may affect whether personalized ads are shown. The App may check consent status again when the App launches, when the consent decision expires, or when laws or platform requirements change.

6. Premium Remove Ads Purchase

The App may offer a one-time premium purchase, such as "Remove Ads", priced at Rs.99 or the equivalent amount shown by Google Play in your region. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing.

Diveno Labs does not receive or store your full payment card number, bank account details, or complete payment credentials. Google Play may provide us limited purchase status information, such as whether the purchase is active, refunded, cancelled, or restorable, so we can unlock the remove-ads feature.

7. Crash Reports, Diagnostics, and Security

The App may use Google Play services, Firebase Crashlytics, or similar diagnostics tools to understand crashes and technical failures. Diagnostic data can include device model, Android version, app version, crash stack traces, timestamps, and technical identifiers needed to debug the issue.

We use diagnostic information to maintain app stability, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and improve compatibility. Diagnostic logs are not intended to include your scripture reading content.

8. App Permissions

The App may request only permissions needed for its features and monetization. These may include:

• Internet and network state: used for ads, consent forms, billing status, diagnostics, and updates.
• Advertising ID: used by advertising services where available and permitted.
• Billing: used to process and restore the optional remove-ads purchase through Google Play.

The App does not require contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone, camera, precise location, or personal-file permissions for the core reading experience.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services provided by Google and related SDK providers, including Google Play services, Google AdMob or Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, Google Play Billing, and Firebase Crashlytics if enabled.

10. Data Sharing

We may share limited information with service providers only as needed to operate the App, show ads, process purchases, comply with law, prevent fraud, diagnose crashes, and protect the App. We do not sell user data.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, Diveno Labs, or others.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

Local app preferences and reading progress can be removed by clearing the App's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the App. Advertising, consent, purchase, and diagnostic records handled by Google services are retained according to Google's applicable policies and your Google account settings.

If you contact us for privacy support, we will use the information you provide only to respond to your request and maintain necessary support records.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your region, you may have privacy rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Because Diveno Labs does not require an account for this App, much of your app data remains on your device and can be managed directly from your device settings.

You may also manage ad personalization through Android and Google settings, manage consent through the App's privacy options where available, and manage purchases through Google Play.

13. Website Visits

When you visit this legal page on divenolabs.in, website analytics, hosting logs, or security tools may process standard web data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and page interactions. Website handling is covered by the Diveno Labs website privacy policy.

14. International Users

The App may be available in multiple countries. Data processed by Google or other service providers may be transferred and handled in countries different from your own, subject to their policies and applicable legal safeguards.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App, monetization model, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
