These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Read Bhagavad Gita Android application ("App"), developed and operated by Rahul Shekhawat, sole proprietor of Diveno Labs, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, and available from its official Google Play listing.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Age Requirement
The App is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
If you are under 18, you must not download, access, or use the App.
3. Description of the App
Read Bhagavad Gita is a scripture reading app that may provide Bhagavad Gita chapters, verses, translations, audio or sound features, language preferences, reading progress, and related devotional or educational content.
The core reading experience is available offline. Diagnostics and app updates may require internet access.
4. Spiritual and Educational Content
The App is provided for devotional, cultural, educational, and informational use. The content is not professional legal, medical, financial, psychological, or religious authority advice. You are responsible for how you interpret and use the content.
We aim to present the Bhagavad Gita respectfully. If you believe any text, translation, display, or attribution needs correction, please contact us with details so we can review it.
5. Free and Ad-Free
The App is currently available without advertisements, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. No payment is required to access the reading experience described in these Terms.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the App lawfully, respectfully, and only for personal use unless we give written permission otherwise. You must not misuse the App, reverse engineer it where prohibited by law, attempt unauthorized access, distribute modified copies, or use the App in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.
7. Intellectual Property
The App design, code, branding, interface, icons, compiled assets, and original Diveno Labs materials are owned by Diveno Labs or licensed to us. Bhagavad Gita text, translations, audio, and related materials may be public domain, licensed, or sourced from third parties depending on the version used in the App.
No rights are granted except the limited right to install and use the App for personal, lawful purposes under these Terms.
8. Third-Party Services
The App may use Google Play services, Firebase Crashlytics, or other third-party services for distribution, compatibility, and diagnostics. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and platform rules.
9. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We may change supported Android versions, languages, content sources, and technical integrations as the App evolves.
10. No Warranty
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, always available, accurate in every translation or rendering, compatible with every device, or free from third-party service interruptions.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Diveno Labs and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, lost profits, device issues, third-party service issues, or inability to use the App.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless Diveno Labs from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your misuse of the App, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App or its features if you violate these Terms or create legal, security, or operational risk. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App will be subject to the courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
