Listro
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 18, 2026
Version: 1.1
Listro ("we," "our," or "us"), developed by Diveno Labs, respects your privacy. We are committed to being fully transparent about how we collect, use, and handle your data.
Because Listro is designed as a privacy-centric, "local-first" task management application, we do not collect, store, or process your personal data on our servers. All of your data remains on your device or in your personal cloud storage.
This Privacy Policy explains what information our application accesses, how it is used, and what rights you have.
1. Information We Collect (and Do NOT Collect)
We do not have servers, databases, or tracking mechanisms that collect your tasks, projects, routine habits, or personally identifiable information (PII). When you type a task, schedule an event, or add personal notes in Listro, that data is stored exclusively on your device's local memory.
Technical Diagnostic Data: To ensure app stability and fix bugs, we collect anonymized technical information when the app crashes or encounters errors (e.g., device model, OS version, and stack traces). This data is used strictly for diagnostics and does not contain any personal content.
2. Permissions Required by the App
To provide core functionalities, Listro requests certain permissions on your Android device. We only access this data locally on your device:
- Notifications / Alarms (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Used strictly to send you timely reminders for your scheduled tasks.
- Internet/Network Access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used to facilitate your automated backups to Google Drive and to transmit anonymized crash reports to our diagnostic service (Firebase).
- Calendar (READ_CALENDAR): Used to read your existing calendar events and seamlessly display them alongside your Listro tasks within the app's interface. This data never leaves your device.
3. Google API Data Usage (Google Drive Backup)
Listro offers a feature to optionally back up your data to your personal Google Drive account. If you choose to enable this feature, our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- What data we access: We request access to a specialized, hidden application data folder (DRIVE_APPDATA) inside your Google Drive.
- How we use this data: We use this access only to write your backup file to your Google Drive and read it back when you choose to restore.
- What we do NOT do: We do not have access to your personal files, documents, or photos in Google Drive. We do not transmit your backup data to our own servers, nor do we share it with third parties. Your backup data flows directly between your device and Google's servers.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Because we do not collect your personal content, we cannot and do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties for advertising or analytics. All processing of your personal tasks happens natively on your smartphone.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not embed third-party advertising SDKs or behavioral tracking services (like Facebook Pixel) in the Listro app. To maintain app quality, we use Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service) to monitor app stability and technical health. This service only tracks non-identifiable technical metrics and does not access your personal data or usage behavior. Your usage behavior is your own business.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data lives alongside the app on your phone.
- To delete your local data: Open Listro and go to Settings > Delete Account & Data. You can also clear the app's data via your device settings or uninstall the app.
- To request account/data deletion from the web: Visit our Listro Account & Data Deletion page.
- To delete backup data: You can delete your backup data by going to your Google Drive Settings (Settings > Manage Apps) and selecting "Disconnect from Drive" or "Delete hidden app data" for Listro.
- To delete technical logs: Anonymized diagnostic logs sent to Firebase are subject to standard retention policies (typically 90 days) and are automatically deleted thereafter.
7. Global Data Privacy Regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
As a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), California, or other globally protected jurisdictions, you have certain data protection rights (such as the Right to be Forgotten, Right of Access, and Right of Rectification).
Because Listro uses a zero-knowledge, offline-first architecture, you have absolute control over your data. You may exercise these rights at any time simply by modifying your tasks inside the app, navigating to our in-app settings to clear the local database, or deleting the app entirely. We (Diveno Labs) hold no data of yours to delete or rectify.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our application is built for general audiences and professionals. However, because we do not collect or transmit personal information over the internet, we inherently comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features (such as adding synchronization capabilities in the future). We will notify you of any structural changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
